Mr. Anapolsky brings over 20 years of organizational leadership experience in finance, law and operations. He applies the valuable insights and creative solutions that he learned as an advisor (Bear Stearns, Wasserstein Perella), lender (T. Rowe Price), investor (American Capital), and lawyer (Akin Gump) to help private companies reach their highest potential by managing rapid change.
When helping companies improve processes, performance, and profitability, Jeff brings an investor's perspective for making difficult decisions with imperfect information. His executive experience includes serving as CFO of Arcserve, CFO of Pinnacle Fertility, CEO of BRH-Garver Construction, CFO of Community Dental Partners, CFO of Surefox Security, CEO for VitalPet Veterinary Clinics, and CRO for Humble Surgical Hospital.
His publications include The Art of Distressed M&A: Buying, Selling and Financing Troubled and Insolvent Companies (McGraw-Hill 2011), "Pitfalls in Brazilian Bankruptcy Law for International Bond Investors (Journal of Business and Technology, University of Maryland 2013), "Energy Lender Liability Beware" (Oil & Gas Investor 2021), "Diamonds in the Rough or Fool's Gold: Strategies for Acquiring Distressed Energy Assets" (Journal of Corporate Renewal 2021), and "How to Structure and Manage Leveraged Build-Ups" (Journal of Private Equity 1998).
His teaching experience includes “Corporate Financial Restructuring” and "Advanced Financial Restructuring" at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business and “Bankruptcy Law” at the University of Houston Law Center.
Before graduating with an MBA from Harvard Business School and JD from Harvard Law School, he earned a BS in Finance, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of Business and BA in Mathematics, magna cum laude, from the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania.
